P&O Cruises confirms new next-generation LNG-powered ship
A second next-generation cruise ship has been confirmed for P&O Cruises. A shipbuilding contract signed by P&O Cruises parent, Carnival Corporation, with leading German and Finnish shipbuilders Meyer Werft will see the vessel delivered in 2022.
P&O Cruises to offer same sex weddings in Caribbean
P&O Cruises has become the first British cruise line to be able to conduct same sex weddings at sea, with the first ceremony to be held in the Caribbean in January 2018. This follows a recent Supreme Court ruling enabling same sex marriages in Bermuda, where all the ships in fleet (except Britannia) are registered.

P&O Cruises reveals plans for Orianan overhaul
Following the news that Oriana is to undergo a three-week refurbishment, P&O Cruises has released a new graphic clearly illustrating the upgrades to be carried out in Hamburg at the end of November 2016. Comprising a cross section of the ship, the graphic provides clear, detailed information about Oriana’s refit which will improve the overall cruise experience while staying true to its elegant and traditional design.

The Cunard and P&O Cruises partnership team has seen a surge in activity on its newly launched Academy Online, a new and improved e-learning portal for agents. Since its launch last week, the number of new modules completed by agents has risen by 96 per cent compared to the week prior.
P&O Cruises to return to Singapore for first time in a decade
Singapore Cruise Centre will welcome the return of Australian cruise operator P&O Cruises to Singapore this weekend after a ten-year absence. P&O’s Pacific Eden is scheduled to arrive in Singapore on Saturday, with the 55,820-tonne, 1,500-guest ship to be based at SCC’s HarbourFront Cruise and Ferry Terminal.
