The funds were invested by Alajial Assets Company, a subsidiary of Al Ajial Holding that represents Kuwait Investment Authority in the Kingdom of Morocco.
Mövenpick Hotels signs with Nusasiri for three Thai properties
The Swiss hotel management company, Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts, has signed an agreement with leading real estate developer Nusasiri to manage three properties in Thailand. The three properties will be Mövenpick Residences Ekkamai, Bangkok and Mövenpick Resort Khao Yai, both scheduled to open in quarter four 2016, and Mövenpick Resort Mai Khao Phuket which will open in quarter four 2017.

Mövenpick plans new hotel at Stuttgart airport
Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has signed the contract for a second Mövenpick hotel at Stuttgart airport. The new-build hotel, located by the S-Bahn and the planned ICE airport station and tram terminal stop, is expected to open in spring 2019. “Our existing hotel opened nine years ago and, overseen by Jürgen Köhler, general manager and director of operations Germany, is highly regarded as an excellent hotel choice in this important economic centre”, commented Ola Ivarsson, chief operating officer Europe.
Chavy to take up leadership of Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts
Swiss hospitality company Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts has appointed Olivier Chavy, 52, as new chief executive. Chavy will take over the leadership from Jean-Gabriel Pérès in September. Chavy is a veteran of the hospitality industry with a 28-year track record in hotel operations and brand management.
