ITB Asia 2017 has completed its milestone anniversary event with record-breaking numbers. The tenth edition of ITB Asia came to a close earlier at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, ITB Asia 2017 has completely sold out ahead of its October staging. For the first time this year, ITB Asia will host Brazil’s Rio Convention & Visitor Bureau, the Moscow City Government, Promote Iceland, as well as an African Pavilion, among many others.
ITB Asia has secured a major partnership with the Korea Tourism Organisation of Singapore. The memorandum of cooperation with Messe Berlin (Singapore), organisers of Asia’s leading travel trade show, looks to boost Korea’s appeal as a key destination place in south-east Asia.

Singapore will continue to be home to the next three editions of the region’s leading travel trade show – ITB Asia. Messe Berlin (Singapore), the organisers of the event, have announced the extension of its milestone partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board from 2017 – 2019, as it looks to continue supporting ITB Asia’s impact in the region, bringing a full range of innovative travel products, services and high powered content that cater to new and growing segments in corporate, leisure and MICE travel.

There has been a significant interest in the MICE and corporate travel products, with over 85 per cent of attending buyers leveraging on the business matching platform to source for new destinations and travel products, and gain new industry knowledge.
ITB Asia has signed a partnership with the Japan National Tourism Organisation of Singapore. The memorandum of cooperation with Asia’s leading travel trade show looks to propel Japan up the international business and events destination chart. “Japan is a prime MICE destination in the region,” said Katrina Leung, executive director of Messe Berlin (Singapore).
ITB Asia has revealed International SOS will take up the role as its first official Medical & Travel Security partner. Through this collaboration, International SOS will leverage its in-market expertise and global assistance network to educate ITB Asia delegates on the latest industry trends.
ITB Asia 2016 will showcase its strongest meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions line up to-date with a full day conference programme dedicated to the growing sector. The ninth instalment of the leading regional trade show, organised by Messe Berlin (Singapore), will take place from October 19th-21st at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre, Marina Bay Sands.
