Ibis Styles expands Accor portfolio in Reading
AccorHotels has completed a franchise agreement for the new ibis Styles Reading Oxford Road hotel. Increasing its footprint in the city, the new ibis Styles will be AccorHotels’ fourth hotel in Reading. After the completion of the extensive renovation program, the 97-room hotel, located at 648-654 Oxford Road, will operate under the ibis Styles brand by the end of this year.
Accor divests seven HotelInvest properties in UK
As part of the group’s strategy to restructure the assets of HotelInvest, its hotel owner and investor business, Accor has revealed the sale and franchise-back of seven hotels. The deal, worth €32.6 million, comes with a commitment from the buyers to carry out €5.2 million worth of renovations.
