Hilton expands into Cape Town

Hilton and Starwood settle trade secrets lawsuit
Hotel chain Hilton Worldwide has agreed to a series of business restrictions in an out of court settlement with Starwood Hotels in a dispute over trade secrets. The case centres on Hilton’s Denizen chain, which was founded following the defection of two executives from Starwood.

Goettsch Partners reveals Riyadh plans
American architects Goettsch Partners have revealed designs for a new five-star 900-bedroom business hotel and serviced apartment complex in the Saudi city of Riyadh. The property – to be operated by Hilton Hotels - will be the largest hotel in the capital and the first in Riyadh specifically designed and built for the hotel chain.
