Net earnings increased33.7% to $7.7 million ($0.23 basic and fully diluted earnings per share) for the three months endedMarch 31, 1998, as compared to $5.8 million ($0.19 basic and fully diluted earnings per share) forthe first quarter of 1997, due primarily to the growth of Four Seasons` management operations andreduced interest expense.
