Air Kiribati has received its first E190-E2 jet. Embraer announced the contract with the government of Kiribati, in partnership with its national airline, in December 2018.
The Embraer E175-E2 has made its inaugural flight, taking off from a facility in São José dos Campos. The E175-E2 is the third member of the E-Jets E2 family, with the maiden flight kicking off a rigorous 24-month test campaign.
Embraer and Congo Airways have signed a firm order for two E175 aircraft, with purchase rights for a further two. The deal has a total value of US$194.4 million at current list prices, with all purchase rights exercised.
Binter has celebrated the incorporation of the first E195-E2 jet into its fleet at a ceremony in São José dos Campos. The Spanish airline is the first European customer to receive the biggest of the three members of the E-Jets E2 family of commercial aircraft.
Embraer and KLM Cityhopper have signed a firm order for 21 E195-E2 aircraft, plus 14 purchase rights. The 21 firm positions will be acquired via operating lease from Embraer lessor partners Aircastle and ICBC Aviation Leasing.

KLM Cityhopper has revealed plans to purchase up to 35 E195-E2 jets from Embraer. The deal is composed of 15 firm orders and purchase rights for a further 20 aircraft of the same model.
