Mall of the World outlined in Dubai
The world’s first temperature-controlled city within a city is coming to Dubai as the emirate plans to build the planet’s biggest mall complete with theme park, theatres and 100 hotels. The Mall of the World will cover 743,000 square metres, four times the size of the Metrocentre in Gateshead, the largest shopping centre in Europe.

Double-digit passenger traffic growth continued at Dubai International for the seventh consecutive month during February, according to the latest traffic statistics issued by operator Dubai Airports. Passenger traffic reached 5,675,246 in February 2014, up 11.7 per cent from 5,080,360 recorded during the same month in 2013.
JW Marriott Marquis Dubai welcomes Tower 2
After celebrating unprecedented occupancy rates for Tower 1 during its inaugural year, the second tower of the JW Marriott Marquis Dubai has officially opened offering an additional 294 luxurious rooms, bringing the total room count to 1,098. Once fully operational by the end of 2014 Tower 2 will comprise of 804 suites and rooms, bringing the total available suites and rooms to 1,608.
