Breaking Travel News feature: Sleeping among the stars in Dubai

Announced today is Dubai’s latest hospitality venture - The Out of this World Hotel.

A hospitality experience which is being billed as the latest space craze from Dubai, The Out of this World Hotel offers guests the amazing opportunity to sleep among the stars.

Situated on Dubai’s iconic World Islands, The Out of this World Hotel features exclusive 50 floating rooms rising 1,000 metres from the ground.

Speaking about this latest hospitality space craze, The Out of this World general manager, Mr Kirk said: “The Out of this World Hotel offers guests the opportunity to boldly go where no guests have been before.

“Guests board their floating room from the main hotel on the World Island and are then transported 1,000 metres into the night sky.

“From that height the views are just amazing and guests are woken up by the light of the rising sun.”

Using the most up-to-date technology, the floating rooms are anchored in space and attached to the main hotel.

The Out of this World Hotel is being built by space hotel development company, Beam Me Up and is the first of its kind to provide a galaxy of rooms in the sky.

A representative from the company, Mr S Cottie told Breaking Travel News: “As Dubai’s land resources are fast diminishing, the building of hotel rooms in space is the key to Dubai’s burgeoning hospitality industry.

“While there are some challenges during the building phase, the benefits far outweigh the obstacles.

“All space hotel rooms command fantastic views, guests are not disturbed by construction noise and at 1,000 metres, above Dubai’s smog line, and guests also benefit from premium air quality.”

This unique hotel will also offer an exciting and exclusive array of facilities, including a galaxy of space themed restaurants.

Due to the exclusivity of this latest Dubai hospitality offering, advanced booking is essential.

Opening is to be confirmed nearer the date.
