The Sharjah Investment and Development Authority (Shurooq) has appointed Minor Hotels to manage and operate Sharjah Collection, its portfolio of seven nature-led and heritage-inspired properties across Sharjah, UAE marking a significant step in the continued evolution of one of the region's most distinctive hospitality collections. The agreement was signed during an official ceremony held in Sharjah in the presence of Her Highness Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairperson of Shurooq, His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Qaseer, CEO of Shurooq, and Amir Golbarg, Chief Operating Officer of Minor Hotels Middle East & Africa, attended by William Heinecke, Founder and Chairman of Minor International.

Designed to accommodate parties of up to six guests, these specialty overwater bungalow suites with private plunge pools offer one- and two-bedroom layouts ranging from 1,120 to 2,228 square feet (104 to 207 square metres). Expansive living spaces provide exceptional comfort, privacy and a true sense of home set above the water, while spacious teak terraces feature fully furnished outdoor lounges beneath a shaded thatched roof made from pandanus leaves. Seamless indoor-outdoor living continues on decks ranging from 250 to 400 square feet (23 to 37 square metres), offering ample space for lounging, and dining; and lower terraces feature outdoor rinse showers and direct lagoon access via ladders.
