Middle Eastern hotel giant Rixos Hotels has promoted Cenk Unverdi to the role of general manager at the five-star Rixos the Palm Dubai.

Unverdi was previously hotel manager at the prestigious property.

“This is an exciting opportunity for me,” Unverdi said in a statement.

“I am honoured and delighted to take on this new role and to continue positioning Rixos the Palm Dubai as the benchmark for hospitality in the region,”

He holds a bachelor of economics degree from Istanbul University.
