Stay mobile on the streets instead of in the skies: Sixt is ready for you!
Ride to your destination in comfort with a rental car instead of a plane: Sixt, Germany’s leading car rental company is amply prepared for the planned strike by Lufthansa’s pilots. Thanks to its industry-leading fleet management, Sixt is prepared to quickly move the needed vehicles to its airport locations in the case of a possible spike in demand – allowing travellers to stay mobile.
Sixt’s rental fleet consists of small and mid-sized cars as well as vehicles from the larger classes and all of the standard manufacturers. Sixt has a well-connected network of stations with 530 service stations throughout Germany, including branches at every commercial airport.
Detlev Pätsch, Chief Operations Officer at Sixt AG: “Those affected by the strike can simply transfer from the gangway into one of our comfortably equipped rental cars. An increasing number of travellers are recognizing that rental cars often provide a cheaper form of transportation. We will mobilise all resources to ensure that customers reach their destinations quickly and comfortably.”
