The historic palace re-opened after a meticulous and complete renovation, returning the hotel to its original splendour alongside the debut of a modern new wing, offering refined style, exceptional hospitality and indigenous travel experiences.
Formerly known as Palace Gallia, the magnificent hotel is strongly rooted in the history of Milan while also overlooking the future of the city from its prime location in the heart of the emerging Porta Nuova district.
“By working with some of Milan’s cultured and stylish influencers, we wanted to share unique insights and stories about the lesser-known secrets and most interesting places in this fantastic and magical city,” said Jenni Benzaquen, vice president, Luxury Brands, Starwood Hotels & Resorts – Europe, Africa and Middle East.
“As the destination authority in Milan, Excelsior Hotel Gallia is a glittering reflection of Milan, a beautiful historic landmark complemented with a gorgeous new structure perfectly mirroring the city’s changing face.”
