Passengers using Shenfield station are set to benefit from improvement works being carried out by train operator Greater Anglia.
Shenfield is currently undergoing a station refresh programme, almost complete, which has seen the station deep cleaned, with some redecoration and general repairs undertaken too.
Over the coming weeks the mobile public address system at the station will also be upgraded, improving the quality of announcements for customers at the station.
Greater Anglia’s Area Customer Service Manager, Martin Sills, said: “I am pleased that the programme to refresh Shenfield station is well underway and that the station is being improved for our customers.”
The work at Shenfield station represents part of Greater Anglia’s franchise commitment to refresh all 167 stations on the network.
