Seychelles tourism proudly welcomed 7th World Cleft Lip and Palate Congress
Minister Alain St.Ange of the Seychelles was personally at the Seychelles International Airport, accompanied by Elsia Grandcourt, the CEO of the island’s Tourism Board, to welcome Prof. Dr. S. M. Balaji, the organizer of the 7th World Cleft Lip & Palate Congress, to echo his support for the 7th Biennial World Cleft Lip & Palate Congress held in Seychelles.
Prof. Dr. Balaji is the Congress President and was first to arrive in Seychelles to finalize details for the congress, which is set to be officially opened by the Seychelles Minister responsible for Health, Mrs. Mitzy Larue.
“We are happy that Prof. Dr. Balaji has chosen Seychelles for that congress. He is a true friend of Seychelles, and above all he knows the Seychelles and he knows us, the Seychellois people. We continue to preach in diversity in our approach to tourism. This medical congress brings out the conferencing attractions Seychelles continues to command,” Minister St.Ange said.
The 7th Biennial World Cleft Lip & Palate Congress had expected to welcome in Seychelles some 200 medical experts coming from 62 countries for their conference.
