Sandals outlines plans to celebrate in style at World Travel Market
Sandals Resorts has confirmed it will be celebrating its 30th anniversary in style at the annual World Travel Market in London during November.
Adam Stewart, chief executive of Sandals; Wayne Cummings, director of business, processes and administration; Jeremy Jones, regional director of the Eastern Caribbean and Karl Thompson, UK managing director will be in attendance to mark the milestone.
The event takes place from November 7th-10th at the Excel conference centre in London.
Sandals is also expected to reveal a number of renovations as part of its £320 million expansion plan.
Developments include a £38 million upgrade to Grande Riviera Beach & Villa Golf Resort in Jamaica; a new lounges and public areas at its Montego Bay property, Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island and Whitehouse European Village & Spa.
Rooms, suites and villas across several resorts in Jamaica, Bahamas and Turks & Caicos will also be renovated or upgraded including furnishings and bathrooms.
Sandals Royal Caribbean Resort & Private Island is also scheduled to host the annual World Travel Awards The Caribbean & the America Gala Ceremony later this month.
Meanwhile, Sandals will also launch its first volunteerism programme with the aim to improve reading in the schools it works with.
Reading Road Trip will take guests on a two-hour programme to visit communities and engage with small groups of children.
