Romantik Hotels expands to Spain

The hotels located on the Balearic island of Mallorca suit the other more than 200 members of the cooperation perfectly with regard to history, the personal management, the quality and the high standard of food and cellar.

The Romantik Hotel de Cases Son Barbassa is located in the north-eastern part of Mallorca on a large finca, planted with almond, olive and baobab trees. Originally a defence structure from the 16th century it combines today rustic and modern elements harmoniously. Thanks to the hillside situation guests enjoy a gorgeous panoramic view of the Cala Mesquida bay. The menu at the restaurant is inspired by the Mediterranean, the products originate from own cultivation or the local market. The home-made olive oil with its intensive aroma plays a central role.

At the heart of the Sierra de Tramontana the Romantik Hotel S’Olivaret is to be found on a 75 hectare estate. A 200 year old oil press, already in 1888 producing oil that caused a sensation at the world exhibition, is at the centre of the finca. The guestrooms are decorated with high-quality antiques and the modern cuisine of the restaurant is based on traditional recipes.
