Royal Central Hotel, the Palm, invites guests to celebrate Earth Hour

Royal Central Hotel, the Palm, has invited diners to celebrate Earth Hour with two special dining promotions on Saturday, March 30th from 20:30 onwards.

Guests can enjoy unlimited BBQ with a glass of wine or spirit for AED95 per person at La Maison restaurant where lights will be lowered during the hour.

Organised by the World-Wide Fund for Nature, Earth Hour famously started as a lights-off event in Sydney, Australia in 2007 and has since grown to engage more than 7,000 cities and towns worldwide.

Mohamed Hassan, general manager of Royal Central Hotel, the Palm, said: “Earth Hour is one of the most powerful environmental campaigns that has been instrumental in mobilising global action on raising awareness about climate change and at Royal Central Hotel, the Palm, we are proud to be part of it.

“In line with the commitment to reduce our carbon footprint, we are glad to support this exceptional initiative that is observed worldwide.

“We understand that only through sustained efforts can we contribute to long-lasting and tangible environmental initiatives.
