The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna will open on August 27th, 2012, with Matthias Vogt as general manager it has been confirmed.

The first hotel of The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company in Austria, it will feature 202 stylish guest rooms and suites, one restaurant, a lobby lounge, a hotel bar and a breathtaking rooftop terrace.

The five star hotel is located in four historic palaces which date back to the 19th century and are culturally protected.

Located in the heart of Vienna on famous Ring Boulevard, the hotel is only minutes away from major sights like Hofburg and the Imperial Apartments, the Imperial Riding School, St. Stephen’s Cathedral or baroque St. Charles’s Church.

The spacious rooms and suites offer individual character and a spectacular view over the city or into a serene courtyard.

The Presidential Suite with 190m2 is the largest of all 43 Suites and combines traditional architecture with stylish interior design.

On the 7th floor, The Ritz-Carlton Club offers an exclusive atmosphere with private check-in, five food presentations per day as well as access to a bar for every guest who stays in a room or suite within the Club category.

Furthermore, a dedicated Club team is available to guests to take care of their expressed and unexpressed wishes and needs.

The Ritz-Carlton, Vienna will join eight other hotels in the region to expand the company’s global presence in Europe.
