New financial leadership for Carlson Wagonlit Travel

Carlson Wagonlit Travel has announced that Martine Gerow has been appointed executive vice president & chief financial officer.

Gerow will take up her position in September of this year.

Based in Paris, she will report to Douglas Anderson, CWT president, and will be a member of the global executive team.

Gerow has over 25 years’ financial experience, working with global brands including Campofrio Food Group, Groupe Danone and PepsiCo, and has worked in France, Spain, and the United States.

Gerow joins CWT from Solocal Groupe, the French leader in local media services, where she has been chief financial officer, EVP Finance & Purchasing since 2010.

Commenting on the announcement, Anderson said: “I am delighted to welcome Martine to CWT, and look forward to benefiting from the broad financial background she brings with her from different industries and geographies.”

A French citizen, Gerow holds a French business degree from HEC and an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

She added: “I’m thrilled to be joining CWT, a company with an outstanding reputation in and out of the business travel industry.
