KDS launches online TV channel KDS.TV

Global travel and expense (T&E) management solution provider KDS today announces the launch of KDS TV, an online tv channel showcasing exclusive interviews with industry experts, T&E best practice advice, case studies, KDS organisational and product updates and more.

“The launch of KDS.tv represents a significant milestone. Truly the first of its kind in the industry, KDS TV goes much further than the usual self-gratification marketing pitches frequently seen in customer clips. KDS.tv provides interviews and advice from high-level industry experts, and the information it delivers is real, timely and relevant,” enthused KDS CEO Dean Forbes.

“Since we first started discussing the idea of KDS TV with our clients and partners, we’ve seen an overwhelming amount of interest from the decision makers at these organisations – real industry leaders providing real perspectives on real issues. The enthusiasm they’ve shown for participating in the debates and other thought-provoking videos which we have planned for the channel has been extremely encouraging.”

Content is split into five channels, allowing visitors to easily identify and access the information most relevant and interesting to them. The channels are: Customers, Corporate, Industry, Partner and Technology.

In the Industry channel, leading T&E experts and practitioners give insight into key industry topics, trends and developments. Currently airing are interviews with David Meyer & Amon Cohen, two renowned industry journalists sharing their views on the new trends in travel industry. Chris Crowley, BCD Travel Senior Vice President and ACTE Ex-President, also shares his thoughts about the impact of social media on business travel.

The Customers channel showcases the stories and successes of existing KDS clients. At launch, the channel features executives from PriceWaterHouse Cooper, Gemalto and EADS/Airbus talking about their experiences in implementing and utilising the KDS solution, and the key benefits they have seen as a result.

Similarly, members of the KDS partner program find a place to speak about their relationship with the organisation in the Partner channel. In a recent interview with KDS.tv, Air France’s Antoine Huet speaks about the airline’s new hub in Marseille and its new low cost routes.

The remaining two channels give full transparency on all aspects of KDS’ business, providing news of corporate and technological developments. Information about new hires, organisational changes and quarterly updates can be found in the Corporate channel, while the Technology channel showcases the exciting new developments in the KDS product line and provides useful information for existing customers on how to make the most of the KDS solutions.

“KDS.tv is an incredible source of information for anyone with an interest in business travel,” said Ron DiLeo, Executive Director of ACTE. “The level of individuals being interviewed and the variety of issues covered provides a strong, broad overview of the current trends and hot button topics in the industry.”
