Jumeirah Zabeel Saray takes centre stage in Mission: Impossible

Jumeirah has revealed its newest Dubai hotel, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, will take centre stage in the fourth instalment of Mission: Impossible set to premiere at the Dubai International Film Festival on the December 7th 2011.

Filmed in five locations – Dubai, Prague, Moscow, Mumbai and Vancouver – and featuring an all-star cast, Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol has become one of the most anticipated movie releases of the year.

Showcasing several locations in Dubai including Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, it will undoubtedly raise the profile not only of the hotel but of Dubai as well.

Prior to the hotel’s opening in January 2011, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray (owned by Zabeel Investments) played host to a crew of 450 and a cast of 250 for three days of filming.

Making its debut on the big screens, Jumeirah Zabeel Saray will be recognised as the location for the films’ impressive black tie scene.

In addition to the existing intricate marble floors, red carpets and luminous chandeliers, the hotel was adorned with elaborate sculptures to portray an Indian palace.

Looking back at the filming in an exclusive interview for Jumeirah Magazine, Tom Cruise reminisced “we felt very lucky because we were able to shoot in Jumeirah Zabeel Saray”.

About the hotel, the lead actor and producer added: “It has a real elegance and beauty on camera.”

Mission: Impossible Ghost Protocol is set to premiere at the eighth Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).

DIFF is the leading film festival in the Middle East, Asia and Africa region and will be proudly hosted and sponsored by Madinat Jumeirah for the eighth consecutive year.

Home of the Dubai International Film Festival, Madinat Jumeirah proves to be the perfect location for an event of this scale, offering all attendees and guests an outstanding service in a dramatic atmosphere.
