Iberostar Hotels & Resorts will make its debut in the United States with the opening of two new hotels in New York City and Miami as part of the company’s commitment to expanding its reach to the US market, delivering top hotel offerings worldwide and providing quality services to its guests.
Scheduled to open June 15th, the new hotel located at 70 Park Avenue will be a four-star boutique hotel in the heart of Manhattan with 205 rooms spread across 16 floors.
With its central location, guests will be a short distance from key tourist attractions including Times Square, Grand Central Station, the headquarters of the United Nations, Bryant Park and the Flatiron District.
The hotel’s opening represents another step forward in expanding Iberostar Hotels & Resorts’ international presence in major tourist destinations around the world.

“With its prime location and focus on service, this new hotel is the perfect way to mark our entrance into the US market,” explained José Antonio González, chief executive, America, Grupo Iberostar.
“This property will be a valued addition to our portfolio by our current customers and will also allow us to reach a new audience in the US market.”
The new hotel in New York will be set inside an iconic stone and red brick building dating back to 1928, but has undergone a series of renovations in recent years giving the hotel a refreshing and modern twist.
Later in the year, the hotel chain will introduce its second hotel on US soil with the opening of Iberostar Berkeley, located in the famous Art Deco district of South Beach.
Opening in December, the Miami property will be located in a renovated 1940’s Art Deco building and will feature 96 boutique rooms.
Both hotels will be the chain’s first two properties in the United States and further reinforce the exceptional offerings available in the urban sector of the company’s portfolio.
