During the 2012 World Travel Awards ceremony held in New Delhi, India, Europcar, the leading car rental company, received for the first time the Europe’s Responsible Tourism Award and was awarded for the fourth time World’s Leading Car Hire, World’s Leading Green Transport Solution Company and World’s Leading Leisure Car Rental Company.

The World Travel Awards are considered the “Oscars of the travel industry”, with 213,000 industry professionals voting for the best company in each category in seven regions of the world.

World Travel Award aims at encouraging word-class competition, stimulating innovation and creativity and ensuring that travellers receive the best possible service.
