Europcar expands into nine new markets with new franchise deals
Europcar Group has revealed the opening of new franchises in nine countries for its two major brands, Europcar and InterRent, in order to accelerate its international development.
The group now offers its mobility services to a wider clientele in destinations with strong demand for car rental services.
Europcar has opened new franchises in Israel (28 stations), Lebanon (two stations), Rwanda (two stations), Senegal (four stations), Cambodia (two stations), Guatemala (two stations) and Mali (two stations).
The InterRent brand now operates in Dubai’s airport and in Chile (three stations).
At the end of 2016, 2,035 stations were operated as franchises throughout the world, enabling the Europcar Group to benefit from substantial flows of leisure and business customers.

Active in more than 130 countries and territories, including nine subsidiaries in Europe and two in Australia and New Zealand, Europcar serves customers through an extensive vehicle rental network comprised of its wholly-owned subsidiaries as well as sites operated by franchisees and partners.
