Commuters invited to take cheeky lie-in on way to work with Jurys Inn
Commuters invited to take a lie-in on the way to work.
Busy commuters were invited to enjoy a cheeky lie-in yesterday morning in a Jurys Inn bed placed inside Newcastle train station as Jurys Inn launch their national advertising campaign.
The hotel group offered the experience to travellers who had an early start to reach their business meeting or conference in the city and may have missed out on some sleep. A recent survey carried out by Jurys Inn found 1 in 3 people said they would stay overnight before a meeting to ensure they are there in time and refreshed for the day ahead.
The Jurys Inn survey also found that business trips are being seen as the new mini-break – the ‘Bizcation’. 35% of business travellers surveyed said they see overnight business trips as a break, with a quarter stating that an overnight hotel stay prior to a business meeting is proof they are valued by their employer.
Suzanne Cannon, Group Marketing Manager for Jurys Inn says: “I’m sure we would all like to stay in bed a little longer in the mornings and our aim today is to show commuters how staying in our city centre hotels gives you the opportunity to enjoy that cheeky lie-in before a city-centre meeting. We can’t guarantee your meeting will go well but we can guarantee you will feel relaxed and ready for the day ahead.”
Founded in Ireland and with friendly service in its DNA, Jurys Inn combines excellent customer service and affordable prices with great city centre locations.
