Luxury resort brand Anantara has launched Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa, its newest retreat in the Middle East.

The resort blends a convenient urban location with an inspirational waterfront setting.

The 222-room property, Anantara’s third in the UAE, is located in Abu Dhabi city along a 1.2 km stretch of protected mangrove reserve and is part of an integrated marina, retail and residential destination.

Offering a scenic urban escape, Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara provides the ideal location for business travellers, just twenty minutes from Abu Dhabi International Airport, seven minutes from Al Bateen Executive Airport and ten minutes from Abu Dhabi’s key business centres and downtown attractions. 

The new hotel also offers a convenient break for guests en route to or returning from Anantara’s two other properties in the Emirate – Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort by Anantara, located in the legendary Liwa Desert, and Desert Islands Resort & Spa by Anantara on stunning Sir Bani Yas Island.

Spread over five levels, 222 spacious guest rooms and suites are triple glazed to ensure a peaceful stay, and are designed to reflect the region’s regal opulence. 

Most impressively, The Royal Mangroves Residence is one of the largest suites in the UAE. 

Ideally suited to dignitaries and VIPs, this one-of-a-kind residence boasts up to ten bedrooms, a private ten metre rooftop pool with a swim-up bar, its own dedicated entrance and access to a limousine service, private chef, butler and a massage and beauty therapist.

Anantara is presently competing for the title of Asia’s Luxury Leading Hotel Brand at the World Travel Awards.
