The Latvian national airline airBaltic has confirmed it will raffle a new airBaltic-branded MINI Cooper on August 1st.

The competition will be open to all airBaltic passengers who book a round trip ticket on airBaltic website before July 15th.

airBaltic senior vice president, sales and marketing Michael Grimme, explained: “Bright airBaltic livery created by our Facebook fans gets a lot of positive attention towards this car.

“It has helped us to make a name amongst the world’s top ten most innovative airlines as airBaltic was the first airline in the world selling cars onboard.

“Therefore we have decided to share this positive feeling with our passengers and raffle this car as a prize to those who enjoy the summer travel with us using the vast vacation possibilities created by our extensive network of leisure destinations.”

A car will be drawn on August 1, 2012.

The winner will be contacted personally and announced on the airBaltic website on August 2nd, 2012.
