Yas – a 462 ft superyacht from Abu Dhabi-based ADM Shipyards – has been launched in the Middle East.

With a design adapted from a United Arab Emirates military frigate, the vessel is the sixth largest superyacht in the world.

ADM Shipyards, a member of Privinvest Holding, a private equity and venture capital firm, is based as Port Zayed in Abu Dhabi and employs over 1,000 people.

The organisation presently has a further three superyachts in construction. 

Designed to comfortably accommodate up to 60 guests, Yas is equipped with modern diesel power and variable-pitch propellers which assure a top speed of 26 knots cruising speed of 20 knots, transoceanic range, and “green” fuel economy.
