Abu Dhabi offers future in tourism to local citizens

Abu Dhabi Tourism & Culture Authority is spearheading an Emiratisation drive along with key stakeholders at the Tawdheef Career Fair, currently running at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC).

TCA Abu Dhabi, along with Tourism Development & Investment Company (TDIC) and eight hotels operating with the emirate, are promoting available and future job opportunities to the fair’s UAE national-only audience.

“With the tourism sector identified within Abu Dhabi’s 2030 Plan as a key economic driver, we want to make sure talented UAE nationals know of the vast array of opportunities the sector holds out to those who want to be involved in an industry which can, and is, making a difference to the local economy,” said, Mohamed Al Marzouqi, senior emiratisation executive, TCA Abu Dhabi.

At the TCA Abu Dhabi pavilion, the tourism delegation is urging nationals to apply for posts online.

“We can accept applications even for stakeholder positions and will work with stakeholders to identify suitable recruits,” said Al Marzouqi.

The hotels which have joined forces with TCA Abu Dhabi in the recruitment fair include: Emirates Palace, Rotana Hotels & Resorts, Ayla Hotel, The Yas Viceroy Hotel, Milinium Hotel Abu Dhabi, Armed Forces Officers Club and Hotel , Dusit Thani Abu Dhabi and Fairmont Bab Al Bahr .
