Five star Savoy Resort & Spa opens its doors on Mahé in the Seychelles

After many months of planning and construction The Savoy Resort & Spa on Mahé has opened its doors directly on to the Indian Ocean.

The Savoy has a remarkable, spacious wellness area; with six individual suites, three double suites for couples’ treatments, two Thai/shiatsu rooms and a Russian steam sauna.

A team of qualified beauty and wellness experts attend to the spa guests, offering a diverse treatment programme focussed on beauty and relaxation.

On offer are 13 different massages, ranging from classic to Asian and ayurvedic massage.

The resort also accommodates a Russian steam sauna and has an enormous pool – at 700 m², the largest in the Seychelles – and for sports enthusiasts, the fitness centre is open 24 hours a day.

Room prices begin at EUR520 per night for a double room and range from a Savoy room to one of the Junior/Savoy suites.

The rooms start at 40 m² with the largest at 200 m², all are stylish and comfortable and include state-of-the-art technology.

The interiors hark back to the clean lines and design of the 1920s and also reflect the traditional, local architecture, which was influenced by the English and French colonial times.

The Savoy and its generous, 355 m² conference centre also covers the MICE- and business-travel area.

The conference centre can accommodate up to 300 participants.

Whether your stay is for business or pleasure, the Savoy has two first-class restaurants to tickle the taste buds of its guests, offering the best in international and local cuisine.

Life in the Seychelles

The Pescado is the signature restaurant overlooking the pool where dishes range from fresh seafood to fondue and extraordinary desserts.

The Grand Savoy offers the very best local and international cuisine and uses only premium ingredients.

Tropical smoothies, a huge selection of long drinks and cocktails, and homemade sangria are served at the Gecko Beach bar.

“We are very happy to be able to present a first-class resort and luxury accommodation experience.

“We can hardly wait to greet the world with the Savoy’s inimitable hospitality,” said Stefan Mengert, head of sales and marketing at the Savoy Resort & Spa.

Finally, the Savoy Resort & Spa is blessed with its fantastic location.

The Beau Vallon Beach is one of the most attractive beaches in the whole world and also the longest beach on the Seychelles.

The picturesque bay will enthral visitors with its fine, white sand and azure water.

The beach directly in front of the Savoy is particularly unique because of its long, flat slope into the water.

It is known as the most beautiful stretch of the Beau Vallon Beach – a paradise not only for swimmers, divers and sun-worshippers, but also lovers who want to tie the knot under palms.
