Dubai World Central receives the world’s largest aircraft - the Antonov An-225

Dubai World Central (DWC) has welcomed the world’s largest and most powerful aircraft, the Antonov An-225 reports Phil Blizzard, from Dubai. The aircraft named Mriya, which means ‘Dream’ in Ukrainian, made stops in Australia, Turkey and Malaysia before touching down at Dubai’s second airport which is the 20th busiest in the world for international air freight. The visit by the Antonov An-225 was for a short stopover before departing for Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Italy.
