British Airways and Winair have announced they will offer a cost effective, same-day route from London to Dominica, via Antigua. The new route will mean that British travellers can leave the UK at 10:30 and be in the hidden island paradise of Dominica with a rum punch in their hand by 18:30.
Following an interline agreement in 2003, Air France and Winair will be implementing a commercial code-share agreement between Saint Maarten and several Caribbean islands as of June 16th 2014. Air France is therefore expanding its offer of services in the region, with flights via Saint Martin to Saint Barthelemy, Tortola, Saba, St Eustatius, and St Kitts & Nevis.
Caribbean sub-regional airline Winair will recommence scheduled flights between St. Maarten and St. Kitts & Nevis on October 29th, 2012. That announcement was made by St. Kitts & Nevis minister of tourism & international transport, Ricky Skerritt, following a confirmation visit last Thursday of a three-man delegation from Winair.
