The future of Pontins has been called into question, with advisory firm KPMG placing the organisation into administration. One of the “most iconic British brands”, Pontins employs 850 staff in the United Kingdom, offering low price holidays in costal resorts.

Holiday camp company Pontin‘s has said it is investing £50m in redeveloping its holiday centres, creating 2,000 new jobs in the process, as more Britons decide to holiday in the UK.The holiday park operator plans will completely overhaul its centres in Camber Sands, East Sussex, and Southport, Merseyside. It also plans to double the size of its Pakefield Holiday Centre in Lowestoft, Suffolk.
