Together they’ve travelled further than the moon so now the entire fleet of passenger assistance buggies at London Euston station have been replaced after 18 years.

Network Rail has completed the construction of Reston station. The station, situated in Scotland has been backed by £20m of investment from the Scottish Government. Completion will enable trains to call at the village for the first time since 1964 – with services set to call from Monday 23 May.

London’s Elizabeth line has received its final authorisations of its trains, stations, and infrastructure from the rail regulator ahead of its opening on Tuesday 24 May.

Mental Health Awareness Week will see the Brighter Journeys campaign grace the concourses of Britain’s railway stations as a way of making them brighter, happier community hubs. The joint campaign between the rail industry and mental health charity, Chasing the Stigma, aims to support passengers’ wellbeing as people return to the railway since the lifting of Covid restrictions.

Passengers are advised to plan ahead over the May Bank Holiday weekend as Network Rail works on two major projects to improve the railway.

Passengers travelling between London Euston and Scotland over the early May bank holiday are being urged to travel either side of the long weekend.
