Kuoni expands John Lewis retail concession
Travel company Kuoni has announced it is to open four new concessions in John Lewis shops, at the department store’s sites in Brent Cross, Aberdeen, Welwyn and Leicester. The new concessions will bring the total number of Kuoni sites in John Lewis shops to eight, following the success of its original four concessions in Oxford Street, Southampton, Reading and Cardiff, which opened in autumn 2012.

With many people now trying to decide when, where and why to take a holiday in 2013 the results of the Special Occasions Travel Survey, which polled 819 Brits over December 2012 via social media channels, unearthed 19 key reasons for travel and the top destinations for these trips.

Kuoni leaves ski market with Ski Verbier sale
Tour operator Kuoni has confirmed it has sold its only remaining ski operation, Ski Verbier, to an investment house. The brand, which Kuoni had been trying sell for a number of months, was acquired by Bluebird Partners.
