Marriott International has announced the grand opening of Courtyard Irvine Spectrum, a new property that offers a fusion of high technology with high style accommodations. Located at 7955 Irvine Center Drive, the eight-story hotel features modern arrangements for a stylish yet affordable stay, as well as comprehensive amenities to enhance guests’ experiences at corporate meetings and social functions.
Courtyard by Marriott enters Bosnia and Herzegovina
Courtyard by Marriott is planning to open its first hotel in Bosnia and Herzegovina next year. The 130-room Courtyard by Marriott Sarajevo is expected to open in mid-2015. The hotel will be the second Marriott International property in Bosnia and Herzegovina after the Residence Inn Sarajevo, which will open in early 2015.
Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo opens
Marriott International has announced the opening of the Courtyard by Marriott Seoul Pangyo. Located in the heart of the Pangyo Techno Valley, a rising information technology cluster in Seongnam city, the 282-room hotel is just a three minute walk away from the Pangyo subway station which gives direct access to Seoul Gangnam in just 16 minutes with easy access to all southern Gyeonggi areas.
Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach acquired for $75.3 Million
RLJ Lodging Trust today announced that it acquired the long-term leasehold interest in the 399-room Courtyard by Marriott Waikiki Beach (the “Hotel”) for a purchase price of $75.3 million, or approximately $189,000 per key. The purchase price represents a forward capitalization rate of approximately 7.8% based on the Hotel’s projected 2014 net operating income. The Company purchased this asset with cash available on its balance sheet.

Marriott International plans to open the first Courtyard by Marriott brand hotel in Bogota, Colombia. Opening in April 2014, the 146-room Courtyard hotel on Avenida El Dorado will be part of a mixed-use complex which will include prime office and retail space.
150-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel announced for Lima, Peru
Marriott International announced plans to open a new 150-room Courtyard by Marriott Hotel in Lima, South America’s third largest city, under an agreement with Inversiones La Rioja, S.A., a Peruvian corporation which owns the existing 300-room JW Marriott Lima and 153-room JW Marriott Cuzco. The hotel will be situated at the intersection of Calle Alcanfores and Calle Schell in Lima’s upscale Miraflores neighborhood known for its shopping, restaurants, antique dealers and breath taking ocean views.
Courtyard by Marriott set to open in Lima
A new Courtyard by Marriott Hotel is set to open in Lima. The 150-room hotel, which will be Marriott International’s third property in Peru, will feature a business lobby, a casual dining restaurant, meeting space and recreational facilities include a swimming pool and a fitness centre.
