Virgin, Conti and TUI UK to headline Innovation Summit

Virgin Atlantic, Virgin Galactic, Continental Airlines and TUI UK are amongst the companies that will be demonstrating how to profit from innovation at the TTI Travel Innovation Summit.

Companies presenting at the event have been chosen for their innovative business models or use of technology.  Chris Amenechi, Continental’s Senior Director of Merchandising will be showing how the company’s online avatar has drastically cut customer support calls.  TUI UK’s CRM Development Manager, Louise Kendall, will explain how personalization has revolutionised the tour operator’s online presence. Fergus Boyd, Virgin Atlantic’s IT Innovation Manager will talk about the development of the airline’s mobile apps, whilst Virgin Galactic’s Commercial Director, Stephen Attenborough,  will tell the summit about tourism in space.

Other companies speaking at the event include thetrainline.com - Product Manager Tom Britton will give a case study on the development of its mobile app and Zoombu Founder, Rachel Armitage, will talk about the development of the company’s new, innovative business.
