Royal Caribbean International announced their winter 2013-14 Caribbean cruises on board six innovative ships, including new itineraries from New Orleans. The sailings are now open for booking.

Oasis of the Seas, Allure of the Seas, Independence of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas will together offer 140 sailings on 31 itineraries that will call at 20 ports of call. Independence of the Seas, Freedom of the Seas, Navigator of the Seas and Serenade of the Seas have all undergone recent enhancements to deliver more dining options, cutting-edge entertainment and modern on board features that first debuted on board the cruise line’s newest ships Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas.

Serenade of the Seas will offer new Caribbean itineraries from New Orleans (Louisiana). Guests can be on board when the ship crosses the Atlantic and arrives in The Big Easy for the first time, on a 15-night itinerary, departing on 27 November 2013 from Barcelona (Spain). The first sailing will be a one-time, nine-night Caribbean Adventure, departing 12 December 2013, calling at Key West (Florida), Nassau (Bahamas), Labadee (Haiti), and Ocho Rios (Jamaica). Serenade of the Seas will then alternate new seven-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries. On the Western Caribbean itinerary, guests call at Falmouth (Jamaica), Grand Cayman and Cozumel (Mexico), while the Bahamas itinerary calls at Key West, Nassau and CocoCay (Bahamas).

Oasis of the Seas and Allure of the Seas will continue to alternate seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Sailing roundtrip from Port Everglades in Fort Lauderdale (Florida), the ships will call at Nassau, St. Thomas and St. Maarten on the Eastern Caribbean sailing and at Falmouth, Cozumel and Labadee on the Western Caribbean sailing.

Independence of the Seas will also call Fort Lauderdale home for the season, and alternate six-night Western Caribbean and eight-night Eastern Caribbean itineraries. On the six-night sailing, guests call at George Town, Grand Cayman, Falmouth, and Labadee. On the eight-night sailing, guests call at San Juan (Puerto Rico), St. Kitts, St. Maarten, and Labadee.

Additionally, Freedom of the Seas will continue its year-round sailings from Port Canaveral, along Florida’s Space Coast. The ship will alternate seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. On the Eastern Caribbean itinerary, guests call at St. Thomas, St. Maarten and CocoCay. Select itineraries will feature calls at San Juan instead of St. Thomas. On the Western Caribbean itinerary, guests call at Falmouth, Grand Cayman, Cozumel and Labadee.

Navigator of the Seas will debut in Galveston, Texas and offer two Western Caribbean itineraries, both seven nights in length. One itinerary calling at Falmouth, Grand Cayman, and Cozumel, while the other at Roatan (Honduras), Belize City (Belize) and Cozumel.
