Prestige Holidays has expanded its range of UK holiday options for 2012. Jersey is the latest destination to join its UK collection which also features: Guernsey, Alderney, Sark and Herm in the Channel Islands and St Mary’s, Bryher, Tresco and St Martin’s in the Isles of Scilly.

The varied selection of UK holidays can be found in the company’s “Closer to Home” brochure, which has been relaunched under the Essentially Prestige brand to reflect the increased accommodation and holiday experiences on offer. Properties featured include guest houses and two, three, four and five star accommodation as well as self catering options.

Accommodation in Jersey includes: St Brelade’s Bay hotel on the seafront of one of the island’s best beaches. The 74-room hotel offers an indoor and outdoor pool, a fitness centre, bar and restaurant.

Also in St Helier, Jersey the operator is featuring the historic Pomme d’Or Hotel, the luxurious Club Hotel & Spa with Michelin star restaurant and fabulous spa plus the Merton Hotel offering excellent leisure facilities.

On the stunning car free island of Sark, the operator has added two boutique hotels: Aval du Creux and La Moinerie. Aval du Creux offers a great location just up the hill from the harbour with an excellent fine dining restaurant and an outdoor pool. La Moinerie is a luxurious 14-room hotel located on the north west coast of the island and set in stunning gardens with a newly planted Rondellerie vineyard. The hotel is just a short walk from a rocky beach.

In addition to flights to Guernsey from Southampton, Essentially Prestige is offering packages from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, East Midlands, Exeter, Gatwick, Manchester, Norwich, Southampton and Stansted airports. Flights are available to Alderney from Norwich and Southampton.

Jersey departures are from Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, East Midlands, Exeter, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Gatwick, Newcastle, Manchester, Southampton and Stansted.

New in the Isles of Scilly programme are the Crebenick and Westford Houses in St Mary’s Hugh Town. Crebenick is a traditional guest house located just minutes from Hugh Town’s restaurants and shops and close to the quay where boats depart for the “off islands”.

The Westford is a three storey Georgian town house on Church Street in Hugh Town. Close to both Porthcressa and Town beaches. Packages in the Isles of Scilly start from just £310.00 per person for a three-night break at the Belmont guest house on St Mary’s with flights from Lands End and transfers.

The operator is also offering helicopter flights from Penzance to St Mary’s or Tresco, ferry from Penzance to St Mary’s and direct flights to St Mary’s from Lands End, Newquay, Exeter, Bristol and Southampton.
