The Limonaia Suite can now be connected to two other suites to create a ‘private villa’ that is ideal for friends, family or special occasions. Beautifully decorated in Tuscan Renaissance style, the rooms enjoy breathtaking views over the city and surrounding hills. The Limonaia Suite’s private garden now has its own heated plunge pool, with a small waterfall that blends perfectly with the leafy surroundings.

Gourmet Tuscan Tour – Villa San Michele can arrange half-day wine tours to the heart of the nearby Chanti region, famed for the finest Tuscan wines and cuisine.  Escorted by a personal driver, the tours include a visit to Italy’s celebrated butcher, Dario Cecchini. Dario’s family have been local butchers for 250 years, and his knowledge, skill and love of Tuscan traditions have won him many famous admirers such as Jamie Oliver, Dustin Hoffman and the Prince of Wales! Visitors enjoy freshly baked bread, accompanied by a rich red Chianti (from Dario’s own vineyard) and delights from the tasting table including spicy pork, sausages and slow cooked beef. Dario will also impart the wisdom of Tuscan cooking, sharing recipes and his skilled advice.  The half-day Gourmet Tuscan Tour costs are based on two people, including wine tasting and a private driver.
