Nexus, a leading provider of sales management solutions for hotel groups, and Design Hotels™, a hotel marketing company with over 200 independent hotels, today announced an extension to their eight year partnership that will double the number of Design Hotels’ member properties on the Nexus system and provide them with an expanded range of services.
For several years Nexus has provided the platform by which Design Hotels™ manages its Corporate and Consortia contracting (RFPs). The new agreement incorporates ShareworX™, Nexus’ Program and Activity planner, an application that will enable Design Hotels™ to maximise their members’ participation in a full range of leisure-oriented programs, such as those offered by OTAs and other travel management companies. ShareworX is effective because it allows hotel chains to present non-standard programs and bids to hotels in a format that makes it easy for hotels to respond and for the chain to track responses without the expense and time-wasting associated with phone calls, faxes and emails.
