New chief executive for Luxperience

Luxperience Enterprises, organisers of the original Luxperience high end experiential travel show, has announced Helen Logas will take over as chief executive, effective immediately.

Luxperience 2013 will take place September 2nd-4th 2013 at iconic Sydney Harbour at the Overseas Passenger Terminal, with its dazzling, uninterrupted views of the Opera House, the waterfront and the city skyline.

Logas said: “After the major success of Luxperience 2012, we are now committed to expanding business opportunities and the appeal of Luxperience across Asia Pacific.

“At the same time Luxperience meeting exchange 2013 in Sydney will maintain the intimacy of a growing community that is committed to high quality and inspirational travel experiences.”

Logas was managing director and co-Founder for the inaugural Luxperience show, which took place on the Sydney harbour waterfront September 10th-12th this year.

She has a stellar track record in business and the travel industry.

Logas founded Travelcorp in 1994 and sold the company in 2010 as a $100 million going concern with 65 staff.

Logas said: “We are excited about our future.

“The Luxperience meeting exchange 2013 will maintain the intimacy of a growing community that is committed to high quality and inspirational travel experiences.”

The inaugural Luxperience attracted over 100 vendors from around the world and 300 buyers from five continents.

For Luxperience 2013, Virgin Australia has continued its major partner agreement established since the inaugural show.

Dozens of exhibitors from around Asia Pacific and Australia have reconfirmed for 2013 and will be joined by product suppliers from additional destinations such as Europe, the Americas and Africa.

These include cruise lines, private jet operators, exclusive lodges and well-being retreats.

Luxperience 2013 will include a Thought Leaders’ Forum dedicated to the fastest growing segment of the travel industry - top end experiential travel.

Luxperience says it is a niche increasingly defined by a new distinction between ultra-luxury and affordable luxury, more demand for personalized services, increased research online for less well known destinations, and a desire for more authentic and inspirational travel experiences.
