Jumeirah Group, the global luxury hotel company and a member of Dubai Holding, has appointed The Communication Group plc as its retained UK public relations consultancy.
The Communication Group has the brief for Jumeirah’s corporate communications and its three London properties – Jumeirah Carlton Tower, Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel and Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living.
Jumeirah Group operates some of the world’s finest hotels, resorts and residences, including iconic landmarks such as the Burj Al Arab in Dubai, Jumeirah Carlton Tower in Knightsbridge and the recently opened Jumeirah Port Soller in Mallorca.
The Jumeirah Group is one of the most outstanding international luxury brand success stories – with a portfolio of luxury five-star hotels which has doubled in the last two years and with at least 13 new hotels currently under development around the world.

The Communication Group’s programme will assist in leveraging the stature and reputation of the Jumeirah Group brand, including dedicated public relations campaigns for individual properties, potential brand partnerships and further promotion of recently opened hotels in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Shanghai, Maldives and Europe, as well as upcoming hotel openings in Baku and Kuwait.
The team will be led by Emma Johnson, Head of the Destination Practice and Chairman of the consultancy’s Management Board.
The Communication Group represents a number of leading destination clients, including Canary Wharf Group, Nine Elms on the South Bank and The Knightsbridge Estate.
