Join Royal Caribbean International live for naming of Oasis of the Seas

Royal Caribbean International will officially name its newest cruise ship, Oasis of the Seas, today, Monday, Nov. 30, 2009, during an elaborate maritime celebration designed especially for the world’s largest and most revolutionary cruise ship.

The global cruise line is putting a new twist on one of maritime`s longest standing traditions, bestowing the honor of godmother on seven extraordinary women to represent the seven signature neighborhoods onboard Oasis of the Seas. For the first time, the celebration will be available LIVE for consumers to join in the festivities on the ship`s dedicated website, www.OasisOfTheSeas.com.

Royal Caribbean International has announced it will homeport two ships in Sydney from October 2011: Rhapsody of the Seas, currently in its third Australian summer season, will be joined by Radiance of the Seas offering cruises in Australia, New Zealand and the South Pacific from October to April.
