Hotel Garonda, the first five star hotel in Playa de Palma, will open its doors this May after a complete refurbishment and redevelopment, marking the 50th anniversary of the original hotel.

With a focus on exclusivity, comfort and design, the new hotel will raise the bar for accommodation in the Majorcan capital, providing modern luxury right on the beach front at Playa de Palma.

The hotel embraces the “Urban-beach” concept, captured in its modern, stylish architecture, and location right on the beach front but also close to Palma’s bustling city centre.

On opening the hotel will offer 149 rooms, divided into six different categories, including 30 Junior Suites which have doubled in size and now feature a Jacuzzi and outdoor terrace overlooking the Balearic Sea.

The hotel will have direct access to the beach and introduce a new themed restaurant - Mikel & Pintxo, a modern tapas bar set on the beach promenade.

Another addition - the new ONA Spa & Wellness centre will offer a number of specialist spa treatments and a heated indoor pool with direct access to the new hotel garden.
