Green Globe announces Green Growth as Preferred Partner for Portugal and Spain

Green Globe Certification CEO Guido Bauer said: “I am pleased to welcome Daniel Frey and his company, Green Growth, as the new Green Globe Partner for Portugal and Spain.

“Daniel’s career as a leading hotelier with Inspira Hotels makes him a truly valuable addition to our global network. Daniel understands firsthand the importance of a sustainable approach to hotel management and the financial and social returns Green Globe certification brings to businesses.

“Daniel will cover these two important countries, which are both leading tourism destinations and are looking to engage a recognized program such as Green Globe.

“The travel and tourism industry needs to adapt to the new global business environment, and sustainability - with its emphasis on efficiency, resource saving, and economic responsibility - will play a significant role. Daniel’s practical experience and strategic planning will no doubt be of great assistance to new Green Globe members,” added Mr. Bauer.

Green Growth CEO Mr. Daniel Frey said: “Having studied at Lausanne Hotel School and worked in all departments of the hotel trade, I complemented my professional experience with business management studies at Harvard University. With these tools, I took on the role of CEO at Inspira Hotel Management, to launch a new brand for Inspira with a core vision of sustainability in Portugal.

“Previously using Green Globe standards as the backbone for the sustainable development of the Inspira brand, I incorporated this philosophy into all areas of business, involving all stakeholders. I believe that this approach is fundamental to the success of any business in today’s world.

“I am now investing all my energies into Green Growth, which not only represents Green Globe on the Iberian Peninsula but also offers consultancy services to the hospitality industry with specific focus on sustainability, leadership and change management.”
