Grace Hotels appoints Lena Kasfiki Livanidou Head of Mediterranean

Grace Hotels, the luxury boutique hotels group has appointed Lena Kasfiki Livanidou as Head of Mediterranean. She takes on overall responsibility for the company’s existing hotels on the Greek islands and will lead the development of the brand in the Mediterranean region. Lena was formerly CEO of Resense Spa S.A. in Geneva, a collaboration between Kempinski Hotels and Raison D’Etre.

Lena Kasfiki Livanidou brings over 30 years’ hospitality management experience to Grace Hotels having held senior roles at luxury hotels in Greece and Africa. She has worked for Hilton, Marriott, Grecotel and the Grande Bretagne, Athens, part of Starwood’s Luxury Collection, where she coordinated closure and renovation planning before being appointed General Manager in 2001. More recently she was General Manager of Kilimanjaro Kempinski Dar es Salaam and Area Director for Kempinski Hotels in Tanzania.

Grace Hotels CEO, Philippe Requin, will now be focusing on the development of the Grace brand globally. In recent weeks the company has announced new Grace hotels in Argentina, Panama and Rhode Island, USA. Commenting on the new appointment, Philippe Requin stated: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Lena Kasfiki Livanidou to the Grace team. She has acute insight into the luxury hospitality sector in Greece and the Mediterranean having worked at the highest level for undisputed leading brands in the region.”
