First Wyndham-owned hotel opens doors in Orlando

The hotel, conveniently located at 14651 Chelonia Parkway, is managed by Wyndham Hotel Management, Inc. and resides alongside the Wyndham Bonnet Creek Resort, a 1,149-unit timeshare resort operated by Orlando-based sister company Wyndham Vacation Ownership.

The new construction hotel joins three Wyndham® properties in serving Orlando-area business and leisure travelers: Wyndham Orlando Resort on International Drive in Orlando, Wyndham Lake Buena Vista Resort on Hotel Plaza Boulevard and the Reunion Resort and Club Wyndham Grand Resort in nearby Reunion, Florida. Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek also joins the prestigious Wyndham Grand® Collection, an ensemble of distinguished hotels with the Wyndham Hotels and Resorts® brand that represent one-of-a-kind experiences in key destinations with refined accommodations, attentive service and relaxed surroundings.

Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek offers 400 guest rooms and suites that overlook the property’s 10-acre lake and Walt Disney World parks. Each room is appointed with contemporary furniture; a 40-inch, flat-panel television; high-speed wired and wireless Internet access; black granite surfaces; True Blue® Spa Bath & Body Works® amenities.

Visiting families in need of additional room to spread out during their trips can choose one of the hotel’s spacious, family-friendly rooms with bunk beds for children and a second flat-panel television. Guests staying on Concierge floors, located on the top two floors of the hotel, have private access to the Concierge Lounge, which offers daily complimentary continental breakfast and evening receptions.

The hotel provides guests with the services and amenities that best fit their vacationing and business needs, including complimentary shuttle service to and from Walt Disney World attractions day and night; fully equipped fitness center; 24-hour business center; on-site gift shop; and a Kids Club with three activity centers providing daily entertainment and events for kids and teens. The resort hotel offers a variety of dining options at its on-site restaurants and bars. Guests can dine on fine seafood and steaks at deep blu seafood grille. Tesoro Cove, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, offers a full-service menu, family-friendly fare and breakfast buffet options. The poolside Back Bay serves casual lunch and dinner daily while Bar 1521 provides a convenient place to meet for evening cocktails and entertainment in a stylish atmosphere. The market-style eatery Barista offers guests pastries, quick bites on the go and specialty coffee throughout the day.

Meeting and event space at Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek consists of more than 25,000 square feet of flexible indoor and outdoor areas for business meetings, weddings or social functions, including the 8,000-square-foot Ponce de Leon ballroom with 19-foot ceilings as well as an outdoor pool deck that can accommodate up to 400 guests. Meeting specialists and conference concierges provide event coordination and assistance and state-of-the-art audio visual technology, including wired and wireless Internet access, is available.
