ebookers.com appoints MediaCom North as media planning and buying agency

Online travel agent ebookers.com has appointed MediaCom North to handle its media planning and buying account across the UK.

MediaCom North will now be responsible for handling the online travel agent’s media buying opportunities including the £1 million spend on above the line advertising set for 2011.

Since its New Year appointment, the agency has hit the ground running, overseeing the sponsorship agreement with ITV for its new four part series, Trevor McDonald’s Secret Mediterranean, as well as handling ebookers’ current January sales campaign.
